A Short-term joint-staff training under Erasmus+ Programme funded project „e-OpenSpace”

Between 13th and 17th May 2019, a Short-term joint-staff training under project „e-OpenSpace  European Innovative Open Platform for Electronic Networking and Sustainable Provision of Adult Centred Education in Privacy and Personal Data Protection” has been conducted. The coordinator of the project  the Commission for Personal Data Protection has invited representatives of all project partners to participate in the training.
Mr Hristo Alaminov, Chief Expert in the Planning, Training and Project Management Department, who is also the CPDP Project Coordinator, comprehensively informed the participants about the intellectual outputs, developed under the project. Among them are: Catalogue of Good Practices, a Guidelines for online delivery of non-formal digital data protection learning, a Common Curriculum as well as its Training Modules, a Methodology for validation of non-formal and informal digital data protection learning.
The e-OpenSpace: pilot e-learning and e-cooperation tool has been presented for the first time. Its functionality and content provide a unique and direct opportunity for national data protection authorities from Poland, Croatia and Bulgaria to organize the first non-formal digital training webinars in the field of personal data protection before the project closure in August 2019.
During the sessions held over the week, project partners shared their experience, a summary of good practices has been presented, as well as steps for the future development of the e-OpenSpace: pilot e-learning and e-cooperation tool and its content have been discussed.
The project „e-OpenSpace  European Innovative Open Platform for Electronic Networking and Sustainable Provision of Adult Centred Education in Privacy and Data Protection” with Grant Agreement number: 2017-1-BG01-KA204-036351, funded under Key Activity 2: Strategic Partnerships in the field of education, training and youth of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, is implemented by the joint partnership efforts of the data protection authorities of Poland and Croatia, the Jagiellonian and Sofia Universities and the Italian NGO GVMAS. The Commission for Personal Data Protection is the project coordinator. The project duration is 2 years. Its overall project budget is BGN 357719.35 (EUR 182 899).
